Column Mounts

It’s been a rough week at The Jalopy Journal World Headquarters as the whole “staff” (read: Marcie, Ryan, and PJ) have been down with a nasty virus. I think we are starting to get back on top though and I’m fighting to get my hot rod world back in order!

While down this week, I had plenty of time to think about my latest project. As you might recall, I’ve been working on putting an appropriate tach in my a-coupe. I finally decided on that trick little Sun tach and it is presently getting rebuilt. With the mechanicals out of the way, I’ve been thinking about a column mount. I want to something that would typically be found in a late 40’s/early 50’s race car, but haven’t really fell in love with any single idea as of yet. This post is essentially a call-out… What have you seen and what are your ideas?
