A 3 Dog Garage gathering in Greenwich

Last weekend I was judging at Hagerty’s Greenwich Concours on the scenic shore of Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Connecticut. Sunday car classes included Ghia Concepts (including some cool Chryslers), Beach Cars, and my personal favorite class, Historic Hot Rods, featuring the 3 Dog Garage collection owned by Pennsylvania car collector Ross Myers. The most famous car in this group is arguably the Norm Grabowski Kookie Kar, which won its class of Hot Rod Cover Cars at Pebble Beach Concours, but Ross also owns the Dick Willams ’27 Roadster, which was crowed the 1953 AMBR winner at the Oakland Roadster show. There’s also many notable  rods, including the Frank Mack ’27 T, Doctor Wetzel‘s channeled ’32 Roadster and the Lee Titus Roadster. I’ve never seen all these cars collectively out in public, gathered in one place like this, so it was a real treat.
