It was just after 3:30am when my phone rang. I stared at it for a moment and then hit the green button and said nothing. Three-thirty in the morning is not a late hour for some people, but they are usually not the sane ones. People that work the line... <BR><BR>To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Holy Schnikeez! That is a mammoth E-wheel. I better get off my ass and do something worthy of competing in tech week. Special thanks to Ryan, and everyone else who puts these on.
I'm not skilled enough to invent any cool tech tips for his crew (unless you guys need some help cooking a french dinner for 100 people?) but I'm always excited to see tech week come around. Lots of great stuff. Thanks to Ryan, the sponsors and all you guys that take the time to post. (Wow Baileigh!)
Props to all the guys who put up the prizes. How come there's no special week for all us inept, untalented guys to win a prize?
Lovely, does a tread need a special title or is it just to post it in the Tech arcive to be a competitor ?
the folks here at EMS AUTO are thankful to "RYAN" and SHANE at BAILIEGH industrial tools for letting EMS participate in this event that is quickly becoming a tradition in traditional hot rodding. the ems company enjoys participating in prize give aways like these. to the guys showing off these projects, do not be afraid that your project/tech tip is not worthy or good enough to compete, just post it!! many times the simple tip for you is most important to others. the hamb is about sharing among hot rodders, you may not win a prize but if your tip is used by other hambers then you still have won. the ems guy
Yea Buddy!! Great idea to extend the winning opportunities to third place prize, thats cool. This Insane tech week is going to be awesome. Thank you to all the vendors!
I only dislike tech week because I never come up with anything cool. I do however love tech week so that I can steal a lot of great ideas!
Hey Ryan - I just had to say: what an awesome intro - I LOL'd hard!!! Also, what an awesome prize pack! I can see a lot of good tech coming in - maybe even from me! OK - here's my first: Best Engine and Caliper Paints - http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=798524 and a second for luck: Small metal-finished rust repair http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=798547
Dammit! I actually have something but now with surgery coming up.. looks like I'll have to wait until the next one...crap!
^^^ Good luck with surgery Zeke... Here is my submission, I have never done this before so I assume the link goes here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8869760#post8869760 I need some Baileigh Tools so I can make a set of fenders for my truck! I don't have a wheel yet, but I sure could use one! And thanks to everyone who has given me other ideas here in the tech archive.
.....many times the simple tip for you is most important to others..... Oh jeez, how true! Simple for you, complete mystery to me! Keep those tips coming, please.
Here is mine, I wasn't sure where to post it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=798570
I wouldn't take English wheel lessons from a guy who gets his leg stuck in one. Or maybe this new E-wheel really is revolutionary. Foot operated, electrically driven, reversible top wheel? Brilliant
I'd like to post a couple more....is there a limit? I'm sure y'all will let me know if you're sick of me or my tech-threads! POR15 vs Rust Encapsulator vs Zero Rust: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8870998#post8870998
