Ill never have a 4 door car. I like some of them, but I don't want to ever own one.
I drove my 1929 pickup about 100-150 miles a week for 5 years, no problems.

The 1st picture looks like it may have an adapter like gimpy shows and a spacer to clear the carburetor arm. my carbs will sit on the adapter but...

Total seal recommended gapless top ring, I've never ran them before in any motor.

4lbs shouldn't be a problem, just control any detonation with good timing and gas.
