In the 1920's, Rudolph Valentino could pull wool better than just about anyone. One square look from the "latin lover" is all it took to get most women to drop their drawers lickedly split. It was a blessing and a curse. A blessing because... Well, w...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Your opening is OK I actually had someone who should know if I was closely related to a very infamous motorcycle guy the other day. I know that I am not but the man was around quite a bit when I was growing up. Ya know what they say only the good die young and like the motor cycle guy in question I am going to be a very old man before I check out. That is one sweet Corvette, a real slap in the face to your modern Corvette aficionados and a genuine grin on my face. I could spnd some very long afternoons admiring the work on that one. Thanks Ryan one of your better finds.
Sweet vette. I dig the Maserati brakes, I'd like to see more guys "ruin" exotic euro stuff so they can "ruin" vettes!
Not sure what the real colors are but I see it in a coppery orange and a dark maroon!!! That's a pretty rad can and I'm with Dreddy, keep "customizing" those corvettes! I love me a stocker but the customs are definitely earning their place in my heart lately.
Liked the story and the Vette......but I'm seriously pissed off that I've never been invited to the Alliance Members World Headquarters......
whilst i'm not a big fan of a any stock corvette, i admire anyone who customizes one or drag races one with a straight axle. the panty dropper, that's classic, and i dig it.
growing up it seemed that every corvette had an A-hole behind the wheel, and at car shows it was those guys. so i never liked or was interested in vettes. later i restored a '67 for one of those guys still no interest. then a '61 was brought into my shop for some repairs, i fell in love what a great car.
"Well, what red blooded man wouldn’t want such a super power?" Sometimes it's over-rated Back on topic though, I dig the livin shit out of it. Those early Vettes are perfect for that type of vision and this one's clearly not the 1st to grace this place. Too bad I can't drive em. I've tried several and I just don't fit.
Before the pic loaded, I was expecting to see HudsonCustom's custom Hudson! Cool vette though, I like seeing early custom corvettes..
I really like that Corvette ! Very sleek and smooth ! I would really love to see that engine ! You could really do a lot with the early Vettes until the later 1970's when they all looked the same after that ! I love to see a Corvette cut up and customized . But BEST of all , I can hear all the Purest Old Corvette Assholes start crying about what you did to that CORVETTE ! Just Gotta Love It when it's done right ! Retro Jim
Regarding the photo at the end of the article... "Hello Pam, this is Rudolph Valentino. You know what to do."
Hey, it was a quote from the article. It is mostly true, but there are exceptions.... Another who is pushing 50 Tommy Lee Johnny Depp got all settled down though.
