I had looked at one issue of Fuel Magazine before going to Australia a few weeks back. The impression was a good one. It came across as a Garage Magazine type of publication with a much larger budget - really nice paper, incredible photography, and s...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Found on my phone... Luke riding the train while my attorney playfully pinches his ass from behind. Good times. Sent from my iPhone using TJJ app
I like when people have a clear vision of their products and follow through with things in each and every area of a project. Cohesive and well planned all the way to the very end. I have yet to get my hands on a copy in print form but I've been informed and even their short films on VIMEO exude quality. I'm gonna order some asap.
Very cool magazine ..I love it...and there's even articles by my friend Peter Vincent....subscribed on his recommendation and it's worth every penny!
I have not had the pleasure of meeting Luke but Fuel is bloody well put together, a little like Kings of Speed and some of the German and Euro hard cover books, well presented with quality photography. Price is good when you consider we pay up to $18 Aust. for Rodders Journal.
Each issue of Fuel gets bigger and better .Not only is Luke very talented ,he also see's it in others and gives them a chance to shine be it in the mag or on the web(fuel TV).Good on ya Luke. And he made me car look good !!!!
Yep, Best Australian Car magazine bar none.I met Luke just as he was starting this venture, and Its been fun to watch it evolve into a world class publication, and to gain a great friend in the process! Had the Launch for issue 9 here at Rancho Deluxe on Sunday, was a great turn, about a hundred folks of the automotive loving persuasion, lots of cool machinery (two wheels and four) of course I was too busy talking and making sure all went smooth to take any photos.. Anyone else manage to snap any??
Success is not measured in one's wealth but their endeavour to achieve, sometimes against the odds, well done Luke. cheers, thommo.
"photographer, graphic designer, writer, and straight-up pimp" I must update my resume accordingly.. Thanks for the post, Ryan. I hope I didn't scare you when I started talking to you outside a lavatory.
Yeh Luke's a good'un, glad to see the mag grow. Need to catch up with you soon since you're closer to civilisation now
Luke, I picked up the issue featuring Max Grundy from my good friend MAX GRUNDY in October. I really like what your are doing with FUEL magazine. Very slick publication. I will see if Ryan will let me have one of the 10 or 20 copies he ordered that feature him, if not I'll order one on line. ACME APPROVED!
Fuel steps it up every issue. It is now more like a book than a magazine. Very high quality and lots of content. My wife usually reads it all before i get a chance!
Great Magazine. It sits on my Coffee table and is a hit with even Non-Car Guy's/Gals.... It's layout is superb. Here are some pics of the Issue 9 Launch last weekend. Mopar Heaven by jimtz, on Flickr
