Beauty...I remember that well, there's at least one image of it in the Omaha status from another angle in here but that's a real thorough overview of a very wild standalone and fierce competitor thats done the walk @Speed Gems...

That's a Pretty darn big Engine in that what is it?

Probably this one from @TRI5LOVER 's thread.
The video said it had an Olds engine.

It's interesting how many of of these Hotrods did duty at so many venues, the shot at the Dry Lakes I believe gave me that view of the engine and I believe the rad obscured the view making it look larger...

The pic shared that I recall was pretty close up and it was racing...If I had Roomans unique way of finding stuff I'd pull it up but I'll settle for remembering it...I wonder where it is today?

...This is an interesting Hotrod Ron Price had built with Joe Bailon handling the body mods, lots of things going on with showworthy workmanship quite evident throughout...I believe it has fixed front fenders heavily Bobbed, Edsel Grill tucked in the nose...the front clip looks to be 2 piece...It would be nice to see a couple more angles of this Hotrod...pretty wild indeed...

...Here is that pic Speed...There is a fair bit of buzz regarding this Hotrod Drag Coupe of late shared here earlier in this lengthy Thread and recently by @Speed Gems and also by a Hamber @TRI5LOVER who mentioned it has been recovered from being tucked away in some building in pretty darned incredible condition late last year at the lower link...

Hamber @tdog is bringing it back to it's late 50s Race livery with at...too cool eh!! I hope he starts a Thread on the resurrection as it would be a popular one for sure...

@Phillips thanks so much for sharing these and still going strong indeed...love the pics and the huge early to mid 60s influence without question...post of the night that is...Great to see it so near its original Hotrod heyday are you the owner or is it one of the local gems from the past?...;)

    Wow neat update...

...One for @Ziggster...this is another inspiration built by Hamber @rbantique and for that matter @onekoolkat1950's friend Paul who really pumped out a vast array of really cool Hotrod/Custom and from all accounts is preparing to wind the operations down after a very admirable career up Hamb Alley....

Of note, this is from the region of the Cool Cars and Square Roll Bars...a very notable area with a sizable influence on Hotrod/Custom...;)

  25. @Stogy asked me to post this pic of a car my dad had back in the mid-60’s when he saw it in another thread. Definitely doesn’t fit the mold of most of what we like here, but it also shows some of what got built back then that was a little different. My dad didn’t build the car, but owned it for a short time at the same time he had a 57 Ford convertible and a 59 Thunderbird convertible. It was flathead Ford powered and I don’t know much else about it. This is the only pic he has of it. I wish I could see it from the front. Looking at the date in the pic, this is when he was a senior in high school. He found out that mowing yards paid good enough that he could own too many cars even in high school when his folks were farmers. :D Likely where I got my work ethic...

Ha I can only wish I was the owner! Yes it’s a local car built in Milwaukee back when. I think it may still be owned by the builder.

Rust Belt Excellence...so much came out of the North Central Region...The Coasts and Cali are often mentioned but it was so much broader than that...

Any other Unique Period Hotrods that you have captured over the years your way @Phillips...I have featured a number of the Dearborn area Hotrods that had any number of details that separated them from the rest and of course that in no way meant they didn't make the cut...
