Interesting styling on the back of this cabriolet/coupster? with the channel, molded back fenders
and body trim line finished short of the fender. This is a mod the fellow lacked on the channeled
survivor Hotrod posted earlier in the thread which would have been a nice finishing touch. Also of note were these were similar period Hotrods as well...

They'll only hurt once...its a very high end build I am assuming. There was a car posted way back that had a lot of aviation influence and this fellow here took that to a modern vintage newer level and threw some euro styling into it. I am appreciative of it but for me too high endish since opinions are being discussed.

You can have to much aeroplane in a car as well or for that matter to much of many things. My interior in the Hotrod is unfinished and there is an aluminum/aviation influence as well so I also speak to myself with regard
to the finishing/continuation of where it is going.

Pete following your builds it is evident you certainly have a
very good handle on what works.
Did you have a build thread for your Pasteurized Coupe?

When one does design/create it is an art/skill and takes vision. The old saying walking a mile in a persons shoes...you quickly find out and gain new respect for those in the field as in it ain't easy. I wish Rat provided a link so we could visit the build to see how much 36 is actually in the build and of course the other details.

Maybe after looking at the car below you'll feel a little better...

Where do our modern influences come from?

This Hotrod looks very well done. What I think of when I see it
is the 32 @titus recently redirected from a barnfind capsule.
    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/old-32-ford-3-window-coupe-hot-rod-found.1043773/
It shared a similar profile. The work was extremely crude in
execution and of course it was a coupe. But it was the influence.
Not criticizing but merely saying it is interesting to see things people

    saw to influence Hotrod style.

That was a Steve Moal build for Eric Zausner. They've done several collaborations, and all of them have been well off the beaten path in design. Moal's workmanship is first class, but his design work is often quite odd.

Thanks 50 for identifying this High End Hotrod. He does have a way of tuggin at the traditional heartstrings...and surely has a great appreciation of the past. He also has to be competitive with business and that involves many directions based on client needs and wants. Not for everyone but worthy of a look and appreciation for what it is. Bet it is quite a car to take out for a spin...;)

Not my '36 Dream but no more far out than Ed Roth. It seems to be a blend of traditions. A friend of mine used to work for Moal. He did a lot of trim fabrication.

Being the thread of just a little different it found a spot to land with a few bumps and there's always bumps. Nothing absolutely nothing pleases everyone.
