I just found this video online about the South Omaha Speed and Fabrication '33 ford coupe. anyone know anything about this car? South Omaha Speed and Fabrication Introduction video to 1933 Orange Crate Project - YouTube
Here's a few photo's i found of it. It looks like it ran a Olds Rocket engine at the drags and on the salt too.
Here is current update on this old rod: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/34-ford-out-of-omaha-ne.1212369/
Very exciting news! One of my all time favorites.1200.00 dollars in 1955 is 11,663.00 in todays money.Anyone up for the challenge?Hit Bonneville, and the dragstrip?Cool stuff.
...Hamb Gold...from @Nitro Marty's late Fathers Collection... Thank you... I will extend congratulations to Hamber @tdog as it is now been confirmed...you are very fortunate to have acquired this vintage warrior...tell me will you make some runs down the strip with it to re-warm the idled slicks once it's done? I think it would be cool for you and Marty to meet to share some memories...I wonder if Marty was with his dad as a Young'un when he snapped these shots? Credit to Photographer, Owner
Thanks for the note sorry for the late reply. It would great to meet Marty ! Yes drag strip, Bonneville and the street is the plan . USFRA street car standing mile coarse 130 mph limit is the plan . Those photos seem to be the most well known of this car . Amazing!!!
Yes these are the first I shared some time ago via Marty that made my Hotrod jaw drop...and low a behold it has resurfaced in the hands of a well deserved owner...
