I miss Bob K…

I was doing a Google search on Bonneville and came across this Utah-based photographers visit to the salt in 2012. Bryan Jones is shooting cars of all types on the flats that week, and who does he happen to capture tooling around in a Chevy Convertible? Our own Bob K! Bob just seemed to be everywhere that cool car things were happening, didn’t he? Smile on his face and not a care in the world. The caption under Bob’s photo read, “Hot rods and classic cars of all types are represented out here on the salt.  I wonder if the ride immediately above with the H.A.M.B. license plate is someone from Jalopy Journal?”

This talented photographer (and scientist!) also shot many other great photos there in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2011, so you might see plenty of other people and cars you recognize… But I still miss Bob K the most.
