I use Facebook mainly as a way to keep my family and close friends abreast of the latest goings on with my kids and home life. That being said, the more I use it the more I want to dump my account and run for a cabin in the hills of some type. I mean...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
I simply don't know how any of it works. I wish I could just access some of it now n then just to peek in once in a while (lurk?) w/out "belonging". And further to your closing statement I won't go into it...
I feel your pain. The one thing about this Instagram stream that is sort of cool, is that you don't have to be a member to view it. Just go here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?page_id=18775 That's the latest instagram photos that have been tagged with #hamb. .... As for Facebook, don't create an account. I wish I never would have... It really is fuckin' scary how much privacy you give away by doing so.
I one of those that has NO teck skills. But loved looking at the cool picts posted. Thanks for the direct link to HAMBiggram. It is now a fav.
This will be cool, There are times where I'm just mindlessly wandering the hamb thinking that some times I wish I could turn off the words and just read the pictures........(NO! I don't read Playboy,..... I just buy it for the pictures)
Well I've been thinking about an instagram account and I guess this is as good a reason as any. I have avoided facebook but do enjoy twitter, it's a good means to follow the sports I like.
I am SOOOO into this. * Instagram is one of the few things that takes me away from the HAMB. pretty much hate Facebook wish I could leave it to die. Instagram removes all of the crap I hate about FB - the focus being to say what you want to say in a non-verbal way via a camera. * I follow almost everyone I can find on Instagram who digs cars and bikes and sometimes even family. I don't mind seeing a cute pic of your kid eating ice cream in the back of your hot rod...that's kind of why we do this stuff, right? * HAMBsters who have admitted to the love of this: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=695933&highlight=instagram&showall=1 * If you create a HAMB-cam app Ryan - I am down like four flat tires... * ~Bro
Its the only social network that I actually enjoy. Facebook has just become a secretary. If you guys wanna see stupid pictures, sometimes of cars and motorcycles, @reverbsplash
OK I just tried it. How do I know if it worked? I put #hamb in the comment is there somewhere else I should # it?
I love this idea...youre speaking my language when it comes to facebook and twitter. And with all the other things popping up on a daily basis (instagram, pinterest etc) it gets annoying to have to sign up to all these damn sights and register. But this is a fantastic idea
