Great stuff - I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Bob Riggle at the 1999 CHHR - what a super guy!

Really cool post and great video. Thanks for sharing, I would have never seen that. How crazy was the roll over truck and riding in the bed of the backwards truck! And how cool was the video of the car when it had the 4 speed. You mean it wasn't built to pop wheelies? The all wheely drags? I am blown away.

Thanks Ryan. I built a model of that car when I was a kid, so you know how old I am!

Thanks for posting!
The early 60's to late 70's was truly the greatest time in drag racing.

Thanks for the clip ,very cool. There was so much cool stuff back in the 60's. A customer of mine recently brought me a dvd of the Michigan mad man to watch. Bad ass stuff .

The Selvedge Yard is an excellent site to be sure. Great topics, photos & info. Very much like the HAMB in many aspects.

Yep, both Bob Riggle and Gene Adams live here in Chino Valley. Haven't met either one in town yet, but saw Bob at the MATS show where that modern footage was taken.
