2 months ago I started with my project
here are some pics of what I've done till yet

    the start

    engine is out

    took it apart

sanded down to metall and paintet the frame shiny black and the fire wall beige (car colour - the second one will be a dark red)

    now the engine -- cleaning

    painted and assambled

next was frenching the cad tail lights 1 inch

ok -- back to the front -- frame was painted and all other stuff is powder coated, -- assambled with dropped spindles and 1 inch dropped springs in front and 2 inch drop in rear

    install the engine

installing exhaust and brake booster, valve, lines

last week I sandblasted the fenders, hood deck lid...

a lot of welding (this inner fender is the good one) was necessary

after that a lot of grinding was next, to have a nice surface

    under the car

and this is how the car looks like now -- damn a lot of work is coming, but I'm trying to get done as much as possible because in 2 month my son will be borne and time will getting rare

thanx guys - it's always good to hear other people like the progress -- hope to get it ready till summer - the 58 should be our family car - all the other cars aren't really baby related, and my wife will kill me if I will drive without her and the baby to events next year, only because of there's no space for them [IMG]

    car looks fantastic!!!
I have been helping a buddy of mine on his 58 and one of the things we did was to take the stainless trim that is on the rear quarter panels and flip them 180 degrees, then remove the stainless on the doors and front fenders. I really changed the look.
Good luck with the rest of the car.
