Here is my 1000th post and to celebrate I'd like to offer this (easy to mail) vintage 1950's Ford keyring fob for auction to benefit the HAMB.
In good original condition, this plated and painted metal miniature of Ford's '5o's "badge" is mounted to a mother of pearl look plastic backing and is approximately the size of a US quarter.
The auction will end on Thursday the 26th of February ('09), which is two weeks from today. I will mail the fob to the winning bidder upon confirmation of payment from Ryan.
I hope that this item is desirable to some of you and that you can dig deep for the glorious HAMB and bid high.
Note; the photo's don't really do it justice, it's not grungy.

Common fellas, you'd pay more than $11 at a show for a fob made in China last month.
I've been looking after this thing for more that twenty years. Before that who knows where it might have been and what ignition lock it hung on.

I thought that (possibly) being made in Oz might be a "carrot" to you given your herritage.
Anyhow thanks for your bids, now were gettin' somewhere. Remember guys it's not only a nice old peice but it's to benifit the HAMB.

Don't worry Hombre, although I haven't had it carbon dated, I'm sure it's authentic. Checkout the detailed pic's. Still when you're back in town to visit your Parents don't forget to "look me up".

Well, it's Thursday morning here in sunny Queensland and there's been no bids for over a week. So it's sold to the man in the sombrero!
Thanks Hombre and to all the other guys that bidded. I'll post the fob out as soon as Ryan confirms receipt of payment.
