I grew up in NE Illinois and SE Wisconsin. Back in the 1980's most 50's era cars could be had in running shape for $495 to $1000. I bought a 1963 Ford Galaxie and a 1955 Dodge Coronet in 1986 and drove both for several years. Many other vintage vehicles followed. No one in my family is an auto mechanic or bodyman... in fact I am the only hobbyist.
- I'd like to be a member of the Cheaters from Milwaukee... but I'm straight. ;)
I am slowly piecing together a steel 1930 Ford Model A Pickup with a Lincoln 430, Edelbrock ML6 (6 carb log manifold).
My current driver is a 1950 Ford Business Coupe (mild kustom)
