    I have always loved the lines on those things. I've never had the money when one came along.

    I recently sold my 46 pickup, it was basicly stock (the 212 flathead six ran so nice I didn't have the heart to take it out) except for the interior, 59 rambler tail lights and flat black paint.....I miss it.....snifff...

    here's a before and a few after pics

  13. I think I saw this truck sitting in front of a garage several months back when I was hauling a load of watermelons from the valley to my neck of the woods...I wanted to stop and take photos of it, but was short on time...

    None of the custom pictures on here so far have looked better to me than the stock truck. I'd lower it, put a bitchin' interior in it, make it go fast, and leave it the hell alone.

    That really is a shame. Why couldnt they ruin another truck!

  19. Yep, was on 77, We really shoulda stopped, The trailer was feeling funny, and the hitch came loose from the frame later on...about 5:30 PM on the freeway in Ft Worth.:eek: Next time, I'll go with my gut instinct and stop to check it out, and let dad think it's to check the trailer.

    Here's my 46'.... Pretty mild but a daily driver, and hauls ass.
    It's been at this stage for about a year, got side tracked on other projects.

    327, M-21, 9". weighs in at 3200 lbs.

    Shortened the wheel base 6" and shortened the bed 12", 6" on each end. The outer section of the rear fenders are 46 Hudson sedan. Removed 10 out of the stock 13 leafs in the rear, Cut one full coil out of the front. Running the stock juice brakes. Stops on a dime but would still like to do a pwr. disc upgrade eventually.

    Cool truck HudRodz!!
    These trucks are kustom from factory (-;
    This thread gets me alot of inspiration to build on my 47,still have a long way to go.
    I want a V8 in it but here in Sweden we have a little harder rules when you kustom build your car. So i have to register the truck whith a stright 6 first and then i can start to really build it the way i want it.
