DAYUM JJ!!! The Wizard turned out awesome - That under hood shot above is FANTASTIC!!! Way to go bud.
ANOTHER great job by Jalopyrama Mike and his crew, really enjoyed myself and it was a pleasure to meet you Ryan. I think it should be a 2 day event Nice to put faces on lots of HAMBers also---too bad I forget who is who already
God dammit why aren't these events posted in size 70 bold print on this website?!? I could of easily gone
I know I'm late to the party, but here are some of my pictures: Had a great time meeting a bunch of HAMBers I've never talked to before and can't wait for next years show!
'Just finished the 500 mile drive back home from Annapolis. What a great show, without a doubt I'll be back next year. Lots of great pictures already posted so I'll only add a few starting with the happiest guy there...everytime I saw him he had a grin a mile wide. Here are a few more Here's how I spent Sunday...
Wow thanks so much guys!!!! I can't tell you how much that means. I'm still grinning ear ear looking out in the garage.
"Far North"!!!! "Yankees"!!!! I'll have you know that there were three Maryland Sons of Confederate Veteran Camp Commanders there (Playing hookie from their Division Meeting to attend Jalopyrama) and that not one person in my Maryland county (Calvert) voted for Lincoln. The first Yankee fatality of the War of Northern Aggression was in Maryland and John Wilkes Booth was a Marylander.
Man I've always wanted to go to that show.. Might have to plan it next year!! very cool.. J.J. Congrats on the car.. looks awesome!!
Fuxl, your pics are superb. Better late than never. Thanks to all that posted great snaps. What an awesome show.
Seeing this picture takes the cake and totally says it all. He truely deserves to be grinning ear to ear! JJ and I spent several late nights getting the Wizard ready for the show. One of the MAIN reasons he should be grinning ear to ear is because of his lovely wife Davina. She came out to the garage with the baby monitor sat down at sewing machine and stitched like a madman. Here is the kicker***This car did not have a stitch of interior in it Sunday before the show and she pulled it off and made it happen! To have never stitched before she done an totally awesome job, especially in the super short time the had to do it in! JJ you must be super proud of her! It was a lot of work but I am so glad it turned out the way it did! I would not have missed this show for the world. Great job...I am so proud of you...and Davina! This picture is PRICLESS man!
I should note that the Crack pipe was found in the Days Inn in S.Glenn Burnie and not the host hotel in Annapolis. So that should definitely not turn you off. In fact the Days Inn in S.Glen Burnie really wasn't a bad hotel either besides the fact we found the pipe and they refunded us so all is well. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that the show was in a safe and beautiful area and there should be no concerns about going next year.....I mean it's not like it was a meth pipe.
I'm with you Big Lovin'! Proud of the efforts JJ and Davina put into the Wizard! He had (has) a vision for his coupe and he stuck to it! And kudos to all the IL's and others that lent a hand in the build! Great job, JJ!
Thanks a lot for posting those pics for me.Clark builds nifty cars, and he was the first one to tell me about the HAMB,back in it's infancy.
Your attorney, OK.... but "Blake" ??!! Now that you've called him by name..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olrIfHUZVGg
Looks like I missed one heck of a show. I going to pencil this one in as a definate. Great looking cars and small enough to enjoy and meet the rest of you crazy Hamber's. No longer just a FNG. Made it grenade inspector. Wahooo
Hey! You callin' JJ a poser?! Jeffycakes and Davina and all of your IL helpers/brothers: way to go! You stuck to your vision and made it happen. The car looks great! You all should be very proud. vic
Yes indeed... But he was quickly escorted to the door while the unsuspecting savagely and deservedly fired off steams of mace in his general direction.
I got to meet Ryan. Crossing that off my list of things I've wanted to do. I didn't even know I wanted to meet Blake but I quickly added him and crossed him off as well. All I have left is the Easter Bunny and Santa. The real ones, not the Mall ones..wait..maybe that was a Mall Ryan and Blake.... crap. Spike
