Toby Kebbell is awesome. Can't wait for The Real Rocknrolla!

That which starts sweet ends bitter and that which starts bitter ends sweet. Best monologue ever...

Super! I personally didn't know the Irish were neutral in WWII?

Sorry, Skeezeeks. (better that way, spelled backward it's like 'racecar'!)

Not all German Luftwaffe pilots were Nazis...in fact, fewer than you might think.
My Dad was a German, so was Grandfather, and back...So am I!

But when Pearl Harbor was bombed, Dad was in line to enlist in the Navy.
He was assigned to the Pacific, (far away from the German side of the conflict...)
There was much concern back then with 'loyalty to ancestry', hence the Japanese internment camps, etc.
Grandpa spoke very little German in our house. He was grateful to become an American.
We weren't all Nazis. All Fords don't have SBCs, either.

  25. Holy ! That blew me away.

  26. Django clued me into another movie The Brylcreem Boys that deals with the Irish's fucked up view of the war, which they recently apologized for BTW. This short is either inspiered or was borrowed from Paths of Hate anime that Ryan blogged about.

  27. AGO,
I watched it an enjoyed it. I am not sure what I am supposed to gain from it but it was fun to watch, all the way to the end.

  29. I gotta agree. Awesome. I'm a WW2 buff and I never knew that.
    Great action with the planes.
