Nagging guilt has finally won over procrastination, and for whatever it's worth, here is communication or at least a reasonable facsimile of what my attorney and I have been up to the last few days here in Melbourne. Before I got to Australia...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
no convictions ... see fun can be had w/o trouble at least not written about... was it odd to sit on the driver side and not drive? does your watch run backwards there? was that sandwich a "vegimite"?
There cannot be ANY "stance" left in the world......................the Aussies took it all and used it on their cars!!!! That video is great Ryan. Looks like fun.
Looks like a fun trip. Any more pics of the cars in the field. Looked like a cool and relaxing place for a gathering. Any videos of the locals telling about their cars.
What an epic weekend, I had a blast! Ryan it was great to meet you and Blake. Enjoy the remainder of your trip. You can always recover when ya home I snuck this shot from the back seat on the way to the starting point I'm glad you liked the posters.
Looks to me like the Aussies have a better handle on "Traditional" than we have here. I've not been to a show or cruise in recent memory where there was such an impressive collection of REAL HOT RODS. That was like a step back in time to about 1950 and the Pasadena Relibilty Run.
I'm living in the wrong town. Looks like a top weekend, sure wish I could've been there. I'll just stick to my sandy beaches and non-trad hot rods...
Bloody awesome! Thanks for the downright sweet education on yall's aussie coolness [j-b,mr journal, barrister and river roadster runners!]
Wow, what a terrific thread, guys! Thank you SO much for sharing with us. To the HAMBers down-under: you guys really get it! Cheers!
Very entertaining . . . very cool. Let's see . . . "hedonism rules" . . . "debauchery of the night before" . . . Go man, Go!!
Do I see Chris's old coupe in one of those pics?? The black one with red oxide primer spots. It has the tell tale 32 bumpers.
"These photographs often appear to be vile renderings of strange monsters loosely resembling the original subject..." It ain't the lens, mate...
they sure got some beautiful rides down there. but they talk funny. lol just kiddin guys. im from the south and all over america they say we talk funny. i just dont hear it.
Seriously epic day... Thanks so much to everyone involved, especially the guys like Human Fly who didn't even get to drive the route, just set up and packed up, etc. I'm guessing you were taking a bit of a gamble with this event, you completely nailed it! And thanks to Ryno and Blakey Boy for coming all this way and being so down to meet and thank anybody and everybody. Cheers! Dave.
Oh and a HUGE thankyou to Corey (Flatoz) for letting me ride shotgun in his roadster. I promise to pay more attention to the map next time
Not wrong. This is a severe case of hit with the ugly stick. Shit and you got a shot of the only grey hair in my shitty beard. I may have to pay ya back with a very un-attorney like shot from Fridee night
you call that a beard? Great to see the day was a success, trust this inspires others to hook in and get ready for the next one (myself included) Cheers, Drewfus
What a great thread, cool hot rods and HAMB stars! The quality of the Australian cars are first rate, as we've come to expect and I think we all knew the hospitality would be second to none. Thanks to all of you over there for keeping the boss in line and making him and Blake so welcome.
