anyone ever custom a wiiys americar?or are they all gassers?I think they would look good slammed ,skirted ,white walled.anyone have any pics?
There was a really nice concept sketch in an issue of traditional rod and kulture a few issue back. Also I recall seeing a nice black one recently too.
Ok guy's and girls who has that little aussie mag, The Newsledder?.Can't remember which issue, but there was a willy's roadster taildragger in there with corvette theeth and 59 Kaddi taillights....... This is when i say where's Rikster?? our kustom kar encyclopedia guru!
I know te car you are talking about... but I dont have a photo of it handy. Here is one from the UK... mild And here is an old one... reabuilt as a roadster with padded top. The car is still around... bad shape though.
But the best ever on this hard to customize car is designed by janne Kutja. The line art shows how hard it is to make this car a really good looking custom. The proportions of the stock Car are not ideal for a custom... but it could be doe for sure. And HERE is a link to the R&C article Janne did.
I will have to say your on my bucket list of people i would love to meet Rikster, thanks for the quick responce.....
wow...really!? it had '40 ford chevrons in back, and amc 360 and the owner said it had a "light chop" i dont see it but he said 1.5". plus im willing to bet that this wouldnt qualify as a gasser. and it is most definitely lowered. light custom, but custom none the less.
conceded. Thank you for being polite. I was just trying to help. Rik: my apologies, sometimes its the most conservative pics are those that provide the most inspiration. I know a lot, but realize my place as an FNG.
By using a measurement one can find out, i.e. the height of the stock headlight surround and scaling from that it has EXACTLY NO chop. That car is Pro-Street, not custom. There is a chopped Willys I have seen in a mag, I am looking for a pic but.......well its elusive! Doc.
Anybody have a pic of the one from the New York (?) area. saw a pic of it somewhere. Plus it was on tv- he was a guest builder on Monster garage.
