Love the Coleman 5w coupe. I have seen many photos, but what is the make up of the coupe, suspension, engine etc.

  3. I no longer own it but did do much rebuilding while I owned it. 34 rear crossmember , 36 rear, 3:78 gears, shortened torque tube , 39 trans, 48 Ford circle track motor, 54 fin Buick drums front and back! 48- 52 ford pickup steering box. What else?

Are ya sure you didn't get any of those specs mixed up with any of the other 100 5 windows you've owned?:p

Just finished reading the rebuild. Great car. When was the car built originally. Thanks for all of the info. Just finishing me roadster. A '32 5w could be coming down the road.

  8. Don Coleman built a few five window coupes. I think this one was late 70’s or 80’s I will need to go back and check. I am working on another five window right now. Hope to be on the road for spring. Got to have a five window.
