Projects Chrome or powder coat - paint ?

    I saw all that and really didn't think he would make a go of it. No way I'm going to be shipping precious parts off to God knows where and risk not getting them back.
    Not to mention that with shipping costs these days you could eat up any savings pretty fast.
    And if the work is poor quality then you are double hooped. :D

    I just had Fairmont plate some lake pipes that I made. I think they did a great job but it wasn't cheap by any means. Save yourself some bucks and prep your parts the best you can, chrome is unforgiving but man it looks soooo good.

    I had my frame sandblasted & powder coated for 250 and my bones and valve covers plated for 500. The bones were ready to dip when I sent them.
