Hot Rods '37-'48 Caddy engine worth

    Guys, what is a '37-'48 Caddy engine roughly worth? I think this one's stuck, and its missing some pieces, such as the front timing cover and fly wheel.

    Not much....get one that's not stuck and complete..or buy that one for 125.00. Parts engine......

    A lot of times it is the valves that are stuck which prevent the crank from turning.
    The exhaust configuration allows crap to drop back down into the cylinder area as well which can also give a false indication of being stuck.
    Best advice is to remove timing chain and see if crank turns first up and of course heads off if you are still interested...
