What did you get accomplished in 2009? Did you work on your stuff? If so, show pics here. Just what you bought, traded for, started, or finished. All Hamb friendly stuff welcome. Lets see them. Here's a few of mine.... The '27 Roadster, '29 Sport Coupe, '31 sedan and '34 truck are still here. The rest have made there way across the country. My Edsel wagon went to Sweden. Bought this last spring, but lost my job so i guess its going on the back burner at least for now.but i will build it! Just wait, you'll see!
Started my '29 RPU in '09.Hope to finish it for summer '10. STRIPER-Loved your build thread though it's caused problems.I can't pass by a farm without checking for one of those gas tanks! Mark
Bought my 52 Chevy in '09, in '10 it gets new tires, dual exhaust, lowered, etc.... The trailer will get a set of wide whites, 54 Chevy hubcaps, and a tonnou cover for what used to be the back seat area.
The only thing I changed on my Essex in 2009 was dropping the front end a few inches. In Oct I picked this up for a future project...
This is the first time i'm posting pics of my project. Started with this purchased in july. it's a 1953 kaiser manhatten shit bucket, rusted through everywhere missing the hood, one door smashed, the other creased along with the fender. This is my first build ever. Here's how it sits now, chopped 4.5" front 5.5-6 in the rear. Front doors lengthened, rears shortened. I only get to work on it 1 day a week if i'm lucky, it's 30 miles away and i don't drive. Sorry for the crappy cell pics. My new years resolution, find more time to thrash and get the body done. Alex
took our small block 65 chevelle 12 bolt,,, changed it bto a big block setback 4 inches,,,turbo 400 ford 9 inch,,,runs great,,
What? No or ? Stop F*^%*&n about and finish that 32. Ben is kicking your arse. Inkmunky, great vision. That is going to be a good looking custom. Pete
Very nice Pete. Love it! What kind of grill shell is on your car? It still makes me look twice at a RHD car... I automatically think the film is transposed. Guess thats what you get living in my LHD world. Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
Pete's Rod gave us plenty of inspiration over the last year, this father & son low buck garage built A should be going very soon.
Thanks for the kind words Kevin, we narrowed the cowl a tad ,as at the start of the project ,it was based on a lakes modified, then somehow we ended up building a small pick up bed. The engine is a early 70's 2TG (toyota) ,stuck some Maund stacks out the side ,sorta got the offy look going on,dont worry its running a hood and side panels to hide it.hahha. Steve.
