It is time again for the Northern California Roadster Run. I moved and don't have a computer or internet, so I have been absent from here, but I am putting on the Runs. I know that some of you have been on this before or heard about it. And there certainly has been coverage of it before on this forum, so you can search for it if your interested. Here is a link from Kirk, who rode as a passenger on it last year. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=730731 If you are interested in going, call me or email me, I won't be on here very often to check this. I don't normally disclose the route, but I can say that we will be crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, and going down the Santa Cruz mountains. So you will be in for some amazing driving. I hope to see you out there. I'll be driving the 50 day special from last year....... Cheers
Dave does it right! And there are some great people that go on these runs too!!These runs are so much fun that I find myself looking into other builds just to be able to attend!!!!!(As A driver ) I have been lucky enough to be a passenger on the roadster and the other run he does if your car meets the criteria I strongly suggest you give it a go! You WILL NOT be dissapointed!
as kirk and meddler1 says you gotta do this i did a few years back on a run he mapped out in the big ol' caddy and it was a blast …..still 1 of my best times on the road wastin' gas with a bunch of old cars …i remember after lunch some of the guys driving the lil hot rods were trying to figure out how get their hot rod in the trunk of the cad and ride in the cadillac the rest of the day for a smooth ride , haha ..something about kidney belts & lower backs , haha... anyways if you got the car do it …..
That's pretty funny Cadilac Nut. I'm glad to hear you guys have enjoyed Past runs. And yes there is another Run in September That is for all cars 1940 and earlier and any Motors etc. I rebuilt my transmission this week So I should have the car back together This weekend. Anyone wanting to go please contact Me so I know how many are coming And I'll tell you where we are meeting Thanks
