It depends on how you lowered it. Dropped spindles for instance still use stock shock lengths. You have to figure out the collapsed and extended lengths, based on the available suspension travel, and then you can use that chart that 4t64rd posted
Measure the distance between mounting points at ride height. Find a shock that has that distance at about 40% compression so you get 60% for compression and 40% for tension.
I have been down that road before, so let me help you out. I have a 1966 GMC SWB that I have lowered as much as possible with still a good ride. 1 3/4 coil off the front and the bump stop brackets removed.
