49-52 heart shaped Hudson tailights..Just open the already hole a little and drill 3 for the scews and WaLa!! John
im working on a 49-50 and i want something will look good frenched, i could just bolt any old something on there.
49 to 52 Chevy cars are easier to install custom tail lights than 53-54's. There is a early 50's fleetling with inverted 56 Chevy taillights. Same year Pontiac, Buick and Olds tailights can easily be adapted to the 49-52 Chevys. There were also some aftermarket custom taillights made back then but you will have to check the swaps meet and/or ebay for those. About all you can do with the 53-54s is install a "lee" custom lens and/or tunnel the taillights.
I ended up with 48 ford for the 51 we are working on. Through junk yard search a Kaiser would flow nice in aearly chevy. tried Buick but they are a little too big for the 51.
