...Found a better pic of this Blast from the past...It looks to perhaps have had bobbed rear or even front fenders spliced and fitted to the fronts...I wonder if anyone took it on and brought it back...

Does anyone know what those headlights are? I would like a closeup of the park lights on the top. They may be the ones I need. Mine aren't the ones wit the land tapered metal housing like Speedway sells. The buckets don't have any marking or tag.

Thanks Stogy. Those are definitely the ones in the picture. Mine have no ID on the bucket. One has a Guide number on the ring but not that one. I think mine were a side mount to put the signal light on top but if I mount them upright I could have the signal on the inside. At least I have something to search now.

Saw it in New Hampshire almost 2 years ago, hope Cris still has it. Took a left and a right fender to make one. Bob DSCF6214.JPG

Is there a Tired of Homogenized Houses thread? Took Pete and his wife 40+ years to build theirs. Think of him every day. Bob o-1-176.jpg

...I believe that besides everything in this pic being extremely historically interesting the Convertible to the left may have been further altered in a Hotrod manner as it rings a bell with a few pics shared within this Thread...

The custom on the left belonged to Gene Von Arx of the Bungholers. I don't recognize the track roadster.

...I believe this to be another of that Roadster and it looks to be a quality build belly panned to boot...

Thanks @SR100, I appreciate the help from you and the others in putting fact to what we are enjoying, I do my best but many times settle for just the history I'm witnessing as I discover it...sometimes that saying here "You know Vintage Hotrod when you see it" is good enough...IF more is not available...

Stogy, I've seen that track roadster somewhere before. I can't recall exactly where. May have been in an old hot rod building book or possibly in an early Hot Rod magazine. I'll check a few and see if I can find it.

Stogy, page 4 of Eugene Jaderquists The New How To Build Hot Rods book. It doesn't say who the car belonged to unfortunately, but that front nerf bar looks like it says Ray. 20200414_212454.jpg

Thank you Joe, hard to believe it's in a book without a credit but you sure nailed it that's for sure...a little more put together to boot...That Name is a clue that's a given...;)

I can't imagine a Hotrod of that caliber without a Name Attached...we'll get it...I'm wondering if it was a Hotrod Cover Car from the early goings?
