Thanks for sharing this I didn't think of using a shot bag. I think the shot bag will work nicely on smaller areas but the thing with the way I did it with a form into wood there is less room for error and the flat surface of the form helps keep the area around the louvre flatter. I just used an off cut of beech work top left from my kitchen and used a chisel to create the shape required and I didn't need to shape the tools. The wooden bolster I used is a lead wedging tool I use for my day job

$15.00 a louvre ???? Ouch ! I am glad I had my 40 Ford hood louvred years ago. I think it was about a buck a louvre..

Nice Very Nice...Looks to be late 40's/Early 50's...That's one with the Smoothed Rear Wheelwells...Looks Awesome...Looks aside knowing that it was a jalopy mod back in the day would make it that more special...Real Nice Hotrod...Camerawork is Stunning too.

I was thinking the same things about that car and the photograph. I wonder if it isn't a newer build, although period correct, photoshopped into an older background. Just too perfect!
