    It's a great intake.. Better than some of the aftermarket ones that were around at the time....

    No argument from me, just pointing out the 302 intake was designed to run in the 7-7500 rpm range and the L79 ran out of steam in the low/mid 6000's.
    Your results may very.

    Hello,
    Here is a different take on Jack Gillett's Sidewinder in June of 2017. That big scoop ready to add to the super power...

    The Sidewinder was lined up along with a dozen plus, other cackle cars ready to do their thing. The sound was enjoyable, but how could we stand hearing this cool sound without some hearing loss or two? It is enough of a problem to not listen to the other side of the table, let alone hear stuff all of the time. HA! It is either surfer's calcium ear problems, roadster wind noise, or these early/new cackle fests creating a problem that we all face.

    I'm sure many of us here remember various NHRA events where they would line up and fire-up the entire field of Top Fuel Funny cars and dragsters at once!
