I rarely go with a specific shopping list

I just like to walk in the cold crisp air and sunshine..

    and paw through old junk

Yep, I was like a baby in a candystore, the biggest swap meet I've ever seen...
Before I suddenly ran out of money when I was buying a clutch for my T-5, I bought 1949 Mercury Top Rear Quarter Fenders for my friend, exactly the same kind which just ended on egay for $212... I paid $40 pr. with complete taillights and gas door... I couldn't find front radius rods and so I ended buy splitted wishbone with new rod ends for 40 bucks... I think it was a good deal, it's a bit illegal back home but who really cares when you find some cool shit laying around there... :)

Oh by the way, that Italmechanica supercharger was not for sale, they were just looking for some parts for it.

I also bought a bunch of 30'ies Ford gauges, it was a good deal too, but I don't want to tell the price because I'm gonna sell them to Finland for big money haha.....

    yup,
and the 10.50-16 racemasters were good for show only,
looked almost unused, but hard as rock,
the genuine 1932 grill shells were priced way beyond my means
    as were the twelve spokes
    but all cool stuff anyway

and was it cold out or what?
prolly only got up to the mid thirties even in the sun

Hey Paul....did you get the rear end from the guy inside with the Dodge coupe and Olds motor?? I bought my sedan body from him...kinda know 'em.
I didn't buy anything this time although I was looking pretty hard at a Sharp 2x2 for a flatty and a 3x2 for early Olds.

    yes,
he seemed very ready to deal on the coupe,
I bet a guy could get it delivered tomorrow for a lot less than the $800.00
    he was asking

His Rocket was a bit pricey though... Oh yes, I scored an old So-Cal cast aluminun air scoop, cool as hell, maybe I put on the roof of my coupe?!?!?!

What was that old race car 3W-Deuce with old plates, black-yellow- some lettering etc. on the parking lot? I took a photo with my phone but it's in there... The car was awesome!

Haha I went there today again! Yeah, I know, it's silly but what the hell, Forsakenfew and 56droppedHT paid my gas yesterday and the sun was shining... :)

Made some last-minute shopping, I like to buy cheap shit when they are packing... 15 copies of Hot Rod Magazine 1958-63 for 30 bucks... Model A front spring for $10, 30-31 "A" headlights $20, Model A (hopefully) windshield frame $30.... lol

I don't think either of those coupes sold,

the rusty A looked like it had been used for a trampoline
but had a $3,000.00 price tag

and the rough and gutted '40 was $10,000.00

that I believe is definately on topic
last year I swung in thinking the same thing,

I snagged a 394 and 303 Olds, both with transmissions very reasonable
