Grew up in S. Jersey and hung around with some other kids into hi-performance cars. I drove a '56 New Yorker, Johnny a '59 Chevy, and Jimmy Springer had a '55 Chevy w/ a 396. Our greatest claim to fame was blowing by the local cop's parked cruiser, doing a wheelstand, and popping a drag 'chute right when we went by. Wouldn't recommend you try this, but it's a great way to test a law enforcement officer's sense of humor!
