    none, but interested
    Just turned 30.
Was allowed to start messing with the good stuff when I was about 12 by helping my Grandad with my smaller hands on dash wiring, dropped tools, and drop light holding. Grandad was a bit of a southern California legend when it came to concourse restorations (pre-1950s cars). He started letting me wrench at about 15 when he was convinced I understood engine mechanics and the importance of accurate timing. He didn't let me paint until I was about 20, and that was because the car was "just a modern car that isn't worth much anyhow". The car was a 1961 Galaxie Starliner.

Grandad passed 2 years later, and I've been on my own ever since.
