    1928 Tudor Sedan in boxes

Many many 331, 241 early Hemi engines out of junked Desotos and Plymouths
I got started in Hot Rods from listening to all the stories my dad would tell about the cars he would build and race as a kid growing up in Minnesota. My mother and father would take me to car shows when I was little, I became fasinated with the beauty in the automobile especially everything 1965 and older. As I got older in high school I began to really research Hot Rods and I began to flip through magazines everyday in class. Eventually I decided I had to build one of my own. I became a welder when I was 14 by way of a friend of mine who had an older brother that owned a welding shop. He was really into cars having a 1970 Cuda with a 440 Six Pack of his own. He taught me everything by showing me and building projects with me, we built an early 50's Desoto and a Rocket Olds V-8 powered Trike. Several years later we built a rocket powered Lawnmower of which no one wanted to ride becuase it was ridiculously insane. Here I am today almost six years later and several cars under my belt I can say I'm from knwoing everything and closer to knowing hardley that much at all but the passion is in my heart. To me it's an art form in it's purest sense of the word, working with your hands to form an elegantly shapely object from an often times flat or roughly shape peice of metal is in alot of respects simply unimaginable to many many people. I enjoy reveling in my talents only because it makes me feel good, giving me a place and purpose in this crazy mixed up world. There's nothing I'd enjoy than to have more people my age with the same interests and passions for cars as I do but I fear we're all a dying Breed. In all I love cars, all cars except modern new plastic, crappily underpowered quiet, spaceship looking crap that manufactures are producing now.

"I despise the new fangled cars coming out of Detroit these days, I don’t like plastic spaceship looking under-powered trash bins that currently inhabit America’s highways." -Me

"Noise, there's no noise does it even have an engine?" -Me checking out a buddy's new Dodge Charger.
