I've been a hot rodder for years. My current project is getting an original Ford '32 5 window survivor back on the road. I'm installing a 59a flathead into the Deuce, until the original B motor is rebuilt. After that, the 59a will live on in another project of some kind. The Deuce hasn't run under its own power since 1960, so its time to bring it back!

AND IT IS BACK! "Floyd" as the Deuce has become known, is now back on the road and has attended it's first show this year. Floyd won the "Thumbs Up" award at the NSRA 39th Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals in Springfield, Mo over Memorial Day weekend 2022.

That show also helped give Floyd an invitation to attend the 53rd Annual Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY in August of 2022. Stop and have a look and say hi, if you are in Louisville this year!

In the past, I've had mostly some Chevys and a few with Caddy motors. My 1958 Chevy Fleetside 3100 is powered by an awesome '68 430 Buick. The truck was purchased new by my grandfather and has been passed down all these years. Runs really well with the big Buick and has Crown Victoria suspension under it. I'd say its 95% complete, but is any hot rod ever finished?
