I grew up hot rodding. Some of my earliest memories involve my dad's Chocolate and Gold A Model Sedan (sold when I was 3). Spent the remainder of my childhood rolling around the back floorboard of a 35 ford coupe. I was given the option to buy or build my first car so at 12 I purchased my truck for the first time--it was also dad's first rod (it's a long family saga that involves a house fire that destroyed the truck when I was a baby and to date something like two dozen times dad or I have owned the truck).
After painting cars for folks all through high school and college I tossed my masters aside and and officially opened Hillbilly Rod and Custom. I spent two years mostly fininshing projects other folks had abandoned mid -stream for them then determined that my back couldn't handle building full time. Put my education back to work and found a desk job, but I continue to do work for myself and other folks on the side.
I'm a diehard ford man, but acquired a taste for caddy's. Generally, though, if it's old I like it and will work on it. My philosopy it's just old metal.Interact
