Captain Mopar

I first became interested in muscle cars back in 1970 when I was headed to Canada on a fishing trip with my father. We stopped at a fast food drive in either a Pals or Carols in Watertown, NY and I saw both a Plymouth Superbird and a Dodge Superbee in the parking lot. I was mesmerized by the high impact colors, large decals and stripes and the sound that those cars made as they left the lot. I was 10 years old at the time. I bought my 1st muscle car in 1976. It was a 73 Dodge Dart Sport 340, 4 speed. I got so many tickets with that car that my father made me get rid of it in 1978. I would not own another hot car for 20 years. In 1998 I bought a 70 GTX and have owned 7 other vintage Mopars since.
