I started with cars at about 9 years old w/Dad and his inboard boat project. Dad bought me a 354 Hemi from the junk yard to take apart and learn on at 13. At 15 they loaned me half the $$ to buy my 1st car, a 40 Ford deluxe coupe for $65. We got it running in a week. Through trades over the following years I ended up with a 33 Ford 5 window w/396 and a four speed. That car went to Lions Drag Strip every Wednesday and some Saturdays that it was running (broke it alot). I worked for Exhaust Equip. Eng making VW exhaust (learned to weld), Worked for Carman Pisano at Wedge Eng (bellhousings), worked for Cyclone Headers in No. Hollywood, Worked for Hedman Hedders '70-'79 doing engineering and custom headers including zoomies for all sponsored cars. Worked for TRW Space and defense '80-'09 (bought out by Northrop) Had my own custom header and chassis shop "Beach City Performance" '93-'08. Retired and moved out of L.A. in 2010. Still trying to get my new shop up and running and keep my project cars moving forward.
