- 1967 Mustang Fastback GT, GT-350 Shelby tribute.
For my birthday, my husband bought (and is still building) the car of my dreams... my 67 Mustang GT. The 302 he rebuilt and it's racing, non billit, no chrome, just "race car Ford" engine compartment is awesome. Not to mention how it sounds! It is a 4-speed that flies on the road with disc brakes which is why my husband got it for me.
I have been a muscle car, Kustom car, european sports cars, hot rods, antique stock cars, 1936- 3 window Ford to 1940 Ford fanatic, (I would love to have one someday!), porche speedster, trying to "understand" rat rods, love Harleys and love to race kinda gal. My husband joined this forum after he saw that I was able to share my "muscle car shelby" interests on Shelby Forum. So I thought I would join in with the girls. I have loved race cars since I was around 7 years old with the cartoon show "Speed Racer". I remember dreaming about racing cars since I was a little girl.
I tried to become a airplane pilot after college, because I thought "that is the fastest way to go"...My dreams were crushed due to the inability to fly with instruments only. So I only have a Glider's license, which is cool enough for me.
We have 4 kids and 2 are in college now. I have been going to car shows and swap meets since I was 18. My kids have been going since birth and they love it too. I guess that is all I have to say... I am going to retire soon so I can get on the web more these days. I would like to share my experiences and thoughts with those who share the same auto/motorcycle interests....from anyone in the US and around the world...Interact
