Just finished installing the 396. It was a really nice motor. I bought it complete for $600. The motor had been built, then sat on a stand for 12 years. It had all brand new parts inside. TRW forged pop-ups, main studs etc. I replaced all the gaskets and a friend re-did the valve job on the early closed chamber heads.
