I think it looks great? Is the plan keep it and build it now!??
    • Vanness
-and how was there no interest?
    • elmitcheristo
@Rob Vanness I think I'm going to build it. I probably won't keep it as I don't have the space for it. I think that people got scared away because of the amount of wood in a special coupe. I took care of that issue:)

What was the number you were looking for? Seems solid....

@Rob Vanness I started out at 3k. Then it went down to “make me an offer.” I figured that I would end up in the 2-2500 range.

Seems like a great deal. Things out on the east coast are in worse shape and usually 2x the price. It’s got a great look now for sure.

@Rob Vanness Thanks. Ive got lots of Flathead stuff laying around, but I’m leaning towards using a 354 Hemi that I’ve had kicking around my shop. Should make for a cool little car.

Amazing! I have a 330 that I bought for a 31 closed cab I’m gonna use. Don’t touch the body. I dig it!! What trans will you put behind the Hemi. Mine came with an auto and was complete. It needs rebuild and it’s $$$. Was gonna use the push button lol!!
    • Vanness
Better yet. Stick your Hemi in it and send it to me for 2500 :) lol

Haha. I was thinking about using a Chevy Automatic. But, im a glutton for punishment and the only tranny i really know are early Ford 3 spd. I like the simplicity and tight package of a ‘39 and I have plenty of them. Kinda leaning that direction.
