Each Varijet is located directly over it's respective intake port, and all carbs are synced together. All carbs are set up exactly the same per Rochester specs. Idle air screws adjusted to spec as well. From the moment they were first installed nothing has been adjusted, yet this setup immediately transformed my engine into a spectacular running machine. It now has as much power and tractability as I can use on the street.A far cry from all the frustrations of the old dual carb Rochester B/CV carbs I had on it. It also just sips gas now if I keep my foot out of it!
