This is a thread for cars that had a thread during their build and then ended up as a magazine cover car or at least a feature car. The HAMB doesn't get the credit it deserves for the quality of cars its members put out.

I was a hell of a year for the Chemical City Coupe. I'm kind of stunned and very honored by all the attention the car has gotten.

The full build thread is in my signature.

Not everyone likes to brag about their car or blowing their own horn...but I don't mind. I'm proud of mine and the fact it was built here on the HAMB. Here's the link to the build:

And below is a pic of my Cadillac -awarded "Traditional Homebuilt Heaven" at GoodGuys ColoRODo event, then awarded GoodGuy's "Traditional National Homebuilt Heaven" winnner (thanx to votes from lots of HAMBers), appeared in GoodGuy's Gazette many times. Awarded "Shelby's Pick" via the HAMB voting contest early 2012 and Ger, the artist put it on a t-shirt as a prize from Shelby's.

When I started my T modified I didnt even know what the hamb was. I had it in a local shop getting sheet metal work done and one of the employees started taking pictures and putting them on the hamb(i didnt know he was doing this). So I guess it had a small build thread.

My '56 appeared on the HAMB frequently during its construction, and was featured in Kustoms Illustrated and Street Rodder:

The "Roach Rod" was built before I joined the HAMB, looks like fun and a great read.
