I'm no photographer, but I snapped these off on the way home from work the other day. It's my '46 Studebaker truck in black and white. Enjoy. Just my beater daily driver. And in color for reference.
I would leave it, by far the ugliest front end ever built. Makes you wonder what they were thinking when they made that... Whats even weirder is someone bought it...
Haha!! I took it in a field property that work owns. I did get a surprise when I was pulling out and almost hit the 2ft high wad of concrete hidden in the weeds!!
Looks good, unique designs is part of the reason these trucks and cars have stayed around for as long as they have. Sent from my fax machine
those are cool looking trucks. wonder how much money Studebaker saved by making the front fenders the same as the rear? pure genius.
Love that model Studie, great stock or rodded. I like the stuff that says 40's , narrow cab, big fenders, cooler than an F1, more unique by far than a Chevy
Guess I better start adding a lot of smily thingies. I'm always jokin and bullshitting. I'll get serious at my funeral! Nice ugly old farm field truck. I like different. Nice change of pace on the photo shoot. At least it ain't on a beach or with a nearly neekid woman next to it. Altho there ain't nuthin wrong with nearly neekid wimin! By the way, I would have probably hit the cement chunk. Then I'd had to buy some more rear fenders for the front. I knew that.
Huh? This is a truck he drives. And he didn't do a SBC, either. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=456279
About 19 miles west. And I have owned the truck for 19 years. I just took some pics of it one day after work. Don't have to worry about the SBC. The first iteration from '93 to '05 it had a 318 Poly Plymouth engine in it. Now it has an AMC 258 six banger. I love the sound of the six, but miss the 100 hp I lost when I yanked the 318.
Great pics, looks like it fits right in with the scenery. I have a framed "artsy" pic in my house of a local field with an old Chevy truck sitting in it. It's pretty similar to your pictures. Cool truck!
