I know the HAMB is mainly for cars but is anyone here into flat track motorcycle racing or vintage flat track stuff?Anyone have any vintage flat track photos from the 50s,60s,or the 70s or just old school flat trackers they have?thanks
are you aware of the sister site the Jockey Journal? I'm sure there are some flat trackers on here but you might find the mother lode over there.
...go to my website: www.thunderplex.com I was a Cycle News contributing editor from 1972 thru 1979 and have about 100 color pics taken from those days posted in the "Flattrack" section. Most of these pics were never published in CN. Check it out. thunderplex
Be very careful going to the Thunderplex.com site. I went there and clicked on flattrackers. Annnnddd, even though I like the occasional pornographic image, I want to choose when without suprises. Mike
I'm an old Flat Tracker, but I don't have any pictures. That was back in the 70's. I agree on the Jockey Journal, go check it out.
We had a really cool flat track thread going on here for quite a while a year or so ago and it eventually got shut down. Here's the one he started after that http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=429965
im into flattrack motorcycles quite a bit. I have a 750 yamaha in a champion frame. Shell thuette (sp) built the motor, and kenny roberts rode it in the san fransico mile
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=182 www.flattrack.com has lots of old racers. www.vdtra.com has races. http://www.mahonyphotos.com should keep you busy looking at (BUY SOME, TOO!) pics.
Pictures man, prove it with pictures This was mine; This was mine - Shell did the motor (750) and it's his gas tank and side covers, XR750 seat
