For some reason My Vintage Flat track thread got deleted. Ryan approved the post. THIS IS on topic. If you don't like this stuff, Move on. Please... Post your pics here we want to see them. Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
So please keep this thread alive. I can look for friends and or rivals. Unfortunately my sister inherited all the family photos, and I'm on the black sheep list so I can't get anything worth posting.
I'm trying to build something that looks like a WR hopefully it'll be done by the time the weather gets warm again.... still need to thin the tanks, thin the seat, get pegs instead of foot boards... open exhaust plus a few other things...
We'll pretend its for Daytona .... I'm actually building it for the street ....just really like the flat track look!
Can't imagine it got deleted. Probably better suited to www.jockeyjournal.com, but I still love to look at them here too.
I'm sad to see it go... but at least its gone to a Hamb brother. On it's way to California as of today. Here's some pics of my Yamaha flat tracker that terraview bought. Kevin
Looks great Zach, keep us posted on the progress. I'd probably keep the brakes though.... I like the black wheels too. Kevin
Hey guys and girls , Your tuggin at my heart pretty good . I grew up with a Flat Tracker / Scrambler Father , Doug Brock # 87 He was / still is a great bike builder. Spent most of my youth in his shop at the track or hangin out in the back of Speed Kunzies Flint Indian Sales , as they were his biggest sponser . I type too slow to share the memories ... but , Thought you might like to see these . My Dads old sponser jerseys . I just put these up in our house this October. I have them for : Flint Indian Flint BSA Flint Matchless And some others still stashed that I forget. I also have his old "skid jacket" , hot shoes and bates solo's . No bikes left tho . His last bike raced was a 1971 XLR . Not many people have even seen one of those . He had TONS of trophys from the tri-state area . Thanks for the "tug" Jeff Brock
