Well me and some club members started doing our first chop FOR REAL! I did some photoshoppin and decided i liked to try 3.5 and 5.5, it seems like alot of people are doing really heavy chops lately and i just wanted to do something a little different, to show that extreme isnt always better. I prefer straight b pillars on this style chop. Its not exactly my first but i dont really count my first as one for real cause it was only practice on a totally rotted out, bondoed up, picked apart rotted frame junker. but i never got to finish it cause my parents got sick of looking at such a piece of shit. heres a link to it...

I couldn't possibly agree more. Looks like you got a very well proportioned chop going there. I plan on a 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 chop on mine.

Looks good. I think I might have driven by that car a few times on my way to my parents house. Wish I would have known you were going to chop it. Would have liked to check it out and maybe give a hand. Would have built up the nerve for me to whack my chevy.

Are you using flux core, or shielding gas? The chop proportions look great, but the welds look like they do have a lot more weld bead than a MIG weld should. While a gas or TIG weld is all around better for most sheet metal situations (much easier to grind, and great for hammer welding), MIG welds can be made to have a lot less weld bead than you have there. More heat will get better, quicker penetration, and very little proud weld bead.

And while I do love gas welding sheet metal, with a chop, you are bound to have some areas where you cannot get a dolly in there, and the warping you get from gas or TIG can not be hammered out, and MIG is the best way to go for those areas.
