Technical Looking for pics of column drops

I gotta make one for a 41 dodge pickup, gm column, usually I fab one up pretty quick, but after staring at the dash for a long time, I've come to realise it hasn't built itself. I'm brain dead right now, over thinking the whole thing, so....looking for some ideas.

 

Here’s one I made for my Deuce pickup. I formed it up and welded a muffler clamp into it.

Fabricated this for my ‘31 Pontiac.

 

I did the same thing. Simple look, easy to do and worked out great.

 

Carved out of a one inch thick piece of steel for my Model A:

Doing it again I would make the bottom half below the column unbolt instead of a clamping action.

 

Made this out of 1/2" steel for a longer version of a Model A for my Tudor.
