Military Interior Sans Bomber Seats

As common place as they have become, it is still hard not to love an honest set of bomber seats in a hot rod. “4ever4” felt the same way, but the wallet just didn’t agree so he sat out to find an alternative. While at his local Army surplus store he stumbled across an old Army tent. Problem solved on the cheap…

Of course, the canvas material isn’t really what made this interior work. Attention to details like the seam placement, stitching, and even the belts is what made this thing happen appropriately. And it all works together… Hell, even the bare door panels now have a kind of ammo box feel to them and the stock Ford wood contrasts perfectly against the OD green and the glass black.
