The Chrisman Coupe was sold again…

With all the hoopla about the Bob Hirohata Mercury selling for an eye-watering $1.95 Million, you might have missed the news that the Art Chrisman Bonneville coupe changed hands (again) at the Mecum Kissimmee sale too. The hammer price with fees was $341,000, which isn’t chump change, but it’s still nearly $70k down from what it sold for less than 4 years ago. Hopefully the new owner will get this car out and run it again!

If you want to get more info on the Chrisman Coupe, Ryan did a great write up here.

Note: The sellers were Jackie and Gary Runyon, who also sold off: Dragula (1 of 5 dummies Barris built for promo) at $473,000, Little Red Wagon Dodge A100 Wheelie Truck for $264,000, Barris’ 1000 horsepower 1964 Turbosonic Dragster, as well as host of TV Tommy Ivo’s dragsters from the 70s and 80s.
